HarperCollins Publishers announced a four-book publishing deal with Emmy Award-winning actress and producer Jennifer Aniston and animation studio Invisible Universe. The publishing program will star Clydeo, an animated dog inspired by Aniston’s real-life rescue dog, Clyde. The first book, Clydeo Takes a Bite Out of Life (on sale October 1, 2024), is Clydeo’s heartwarming picture book origin story in which he discovers that cooking is what makes him shine. Future Clydeo titles will include a cookbook written by Aniston and Clydeo and two “I Can Read!” leveled readers to follow. Learn more: https://lnkd.in/ecEnHpfK
The one where the wealthy actor diversifies their personal brand.
Creating a kids' cookbook is a wonderful idea! Been on my mind for years, it can be a fun and educational way to teach children about cooking, nutrition, and the joy of preparing food. Younger children (ages 4-7) simpler, more supervised recipes, while older kids (ages 8-12) for more complexity and independence in the kitchen. So many themes to work from. Happy cooking.
What a surprise! Another person famous for acting muscles in on the space for writers - which is already a tight squeeze!!!!
Very nice! Congrats on the 4 book deal. Excited to check this one out
Hi Team - We have created children worksheets, how can we reach you to discuss distribution? Thanks and waiting to connect.
This is so cute 😊 I can tell kids will love it. My little cousin loves stories like this. lol.

Why do actors choose picture book authoring or hard alchohol sales as their side hustle? 🤔
Love it! 🤎

3wThis is possibly a good book HarperCollins Publishers but I think it’s so frustrating for #writers to see big publishers regularly taking on books from celebrities, when it’s so hard for the average writer to even have a chance of their work being seen by a big publisher. The gate keeping process of literary agents creates such a big barrier to entry for most writers, and it seems to me to be quite an unfair process. I’m a writer, and I’m also a highly experienced digital marketing specialist - and I don’t think it’s just writers that are missing out by things working this way. Self publishing offers so many opportunities these days, and things are changing fast - I personally think if big publishers offered another route - such as regular ‘pitch days’ - all sorts of opportunities could open up on both the side of writers and big publishers - just my thought for a Thursday evening 😉
