hkk & Gymondo: Seit 2018 gemeinsam auf dem Weg in eine gesündere Zukunft Seit 2018 schreiben wir bei Gymondo gemeinsam mit der hkk Krankenkasse Erfolgsgeschichten im Bereich Gesundheitsförderung. Unsere Zusammenarbeit mit der hkk Krankenkasse ist ein echtes Highlight in unserem Engagement für eine gesündere, fittere Zukunft. Als eine der führenden gesetzlichen Krankenkassen in Deutschland mit über 910.000 Versicherten bietet die hkk Krankenkasse ihren KundInnen ein attraktives Bonusprogramm, das Maßnahmen rund um Vorsorge und Prävention belohnt – so auch unsere Präventionskurse. Seit 2018 haben bereits mehr als 10.000 hkk-Versicherte die Chance genutzt, ihrer Gesundheit mit den zertifizierten Präventionskursen "Rücken Fit & Gesund" und "Funktionelle Ganzkörperkräftigung" etwas Gutes zu tun. Train Together, Stay Together: Team Workouts as Team Building Initiative At Gymondo, we believe that a healthy team is a strong team – and we live by it. Incorporating fitness into our team activities has proven to be a game-changer for team bonding and growth. Here are three examples of the initiatives we've undertaken to foster team building and togetherness. 1️⃣ Glow Up Challenge 🤸♀️ With 19 enthusiastic participants, we’ve kicked off the Gymondo Glow Up Challenge. We work out 3 – 4 times a week using Gymondo workouts, share nutrition tips and motivate each other in a dedicated Slack group. This challenge not only boosts individual well-being, but also strengthens our team spirit. Together, we cheer, share, and provide valuable feedback to create a fit and happy team. 2️⃣ Twerk Lessons 💃 Shaking it off with a fun and unique team event: Our all-female P&C team took on a twerk lesson with dancer and teacher Gabrielichka, embarking on an unconventional team day. Learning something new together – in this case about the unique dance style that emerged out of the Bounce music scene of New Orleans in 1990 – brought out vulnerability and erased hierarchical lines within the team. Coordinating a dance routine and supporting each other made us stronger and helped us foster a dynamic team spirit! 3️⃣ Production of a Team Workout 🎬  Lights, camera, action – Gymondo team members take the stage! Led by our Chief of Content, Marife (Mary Fay) Sanvictores, #TeamGymondo filmed a 10-minute workout with most of our employees as trainees. Experiencing the behind-the-scenes magic and sweating it out together in front of the cameras forged an unbreakable bond. This memorable experience brought us closer and reinforced our passion for what we do. Fitness isn't just about individual well-being; it's a journey we take together. Partnerschaft, die bewegt: Gymondo & DAK-Gesundheit 💪 Bereits seit 2017 pflegen Gymondo und die DAK-Gesundheit eine starke Partnerschaft, die den rund 11.000 Mitarbeitenden der DAK ein flexibles Gesundheitsangebot ermöglicht. In unserer schnelllebigen Welt ist Flexibilität unverzichtbar. Deshalb ermöglicht die DAK-Gesundheit ihren Mitarbeitenden, unsere zertifizierten Präventionskurse kostenlos zu nutzen. Egal, ob früh am Morgen, in der Mittagspause oder nach Feierabend – unsere Präventionskurse sind jederzeit und überall verfügbar. Als Anerkennung für ihr Engagement gibt es für die Mitarbeitenden der DAK-Gesundheit nach Abschluss eines Präventionskurses eine 12-monatige Gymondo-Mitgliedschaft. In the previous weeks, we have already covered two initiatives to support employee mental health at work. Part three of our LinkedIn series goes one step further. Our commitment to mental health doesn't stop at creating a conducive work environment. We believe in providing our team members with the resources they need to foster and maintain their mental well-being anytime, anywhere. This belief led us to partner with OpenUp, an online mental health provider, that can assist with the expertise we can not provide ourselves. This collaboration offers our team members direct and easy access to certified psychologist sessions, mindfulness trainings and mental health masterclasses. Whether dealing with something big or small, in their personal life or at work, our team members can seek professional help completely anonymously. In the first five months, 13 team members have used 1:1 sessions with a psychologist, scoring a satisfaction rating of 8,9 out of 10. Our goal is to make professional support for mental well-being accessible to everybody and to foster an open discussion about this incredibly important topic. #MentalHealth #OpenUp #TeamGymondo #Gymondo

In the second part of our mental health series, we’ll cover a simple, yet effective initiative that has not only made a difference to company well-being, but has also brought the team together in various ways. In our continuous efforts to promote mental health, we have taken a step further by creating a dedicated meditation space within our office. This tranquil area, separated from the main workspace, offers a comfortable, calm space to wind down and relax. The meditation space is simple yet effective, equipped with a bamboo rug, cushions and a prayer mat for our Muslim colleagues. It serves as a sanctuary where our team members can take a moment to relax, unwind and meditate amidst their busy schedules. Whether it's to calm down after a long workday or to have a quick meditation in between meetings, this space is open for all. We believe that taking a break and focusing on mental health should be an integral part of the workday.
