In the previous weeks, we have already covered two initiatives to support employee mental health at work. Part three of our LinkedIn series goes one step further. Our commitment to mental health doesn't stop at creating a conducive work environment. We believe in providing our team members with the resources they need to foster and maintain their mental well-being anytime, anywhere. This belief led us to partner with OpenUp, an online mental health provider, that can assist with the expertise we can not provide ourselves. This collaboration offers our team members direct and easy access to certified psychologist sessions, mindfulness trainings and mental health masterclasses. Whether dealing with something big or small, in their personal life or at work, our team members can seek professional help completely anonymously. In the first five months, 13 team members have used 1:1 sessions with a psychologist, scoring a satisfaction rating of 8,9 out of 10. Our goal is to make professional support for mental well-being accessible to everybody and to foster an open discussion about this incredibly important topic. #MentalHealth #OpenUp #TeamGymondo #Gymondo

This year's Mental Health Awareness Week theme is movement, which couldn't be more important in 2024. In a fast-paced, fluid tech landscape, the focus on movement can resonate with a great many of us. Taken at face value, it speaks to the importance of physically getting up and moving around after a busy, screen-intensive day (just like Ivanti's scheme to encourage regular breaks away from your desk). It also reminds us of the importance of movement within the workplace, to ensure that your colleagues are supported with what they need in order to effectively combat burnout. If I can ever help out with #MentalHealthAwareness, know that my DMs are open! #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek

Today, each of our employees received a special wellbeing bag filled with resources and goodies to support their mental health and overall wellbeing. Inside their bag, they had an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) handy reference guide listing all the resources available to help them manage their mental health, plus a few treats to brighten their day! This year, the theme for Mental Health Awareness Week is “Movement: Moving More for our Mental Health.” Movement is crucial for maintaining good mental health, yet many of us struggle to incorporate enough physical activity into our busy lives. Whether it’s a walk around your neighborhood, dancing to your favourite music in your living room, or doing chair exercises while watching TV, every bit of movement counts. So, how are you moving today? #Hardscape #MentalHealthWeek #MentalHealth

Do you work from home and feel stuck at your desk all day, struggling to find time to move? Consider adding a morning commute to your routine. It's quick, simple, and offers numerous benefits, including creating a boundary between work and home life. Check out the video to see how I've done it. Give it a try - it's an effortless habit to establish, and I can assure you it will make a difference. Let me know if you give it a go - I'd love to hear how you get on. PS No apology from me for going on about movement this week during Mental Health Awareness Week - I am passionate about helping people support their wellbeing in a way that is easy for them, and I've seen HUGE results from my clients doing it. I know that these small tweaks will help you, so bear with me while I reinforce it this week 😀 #mentalhealthawareness #moveforyourmind #WorkFromHome #MorningCommute #HealthyHabits
