April - June 6, 2024, a very motivated GETEC team participated to the digital 2024 Firmenstaffel competition, in which employees of participating add every kilometer run or walked to the total company score. We are very proud of the performance of our employees in the 2024 edition! Over 10 weeks, 270 participants in 4 countries covered a total of 𝟯𝟱,𝟲𝟭𝟱.𝟮 𝗸𝗺 and thus reached 2nd place in the overall ranking. They showed fantastic team spirit and ambition. Covering an area of 76,291 m², this project will feature 41 modern buildings housing a total of 1,127 residential units. Our mission is to provide innovative heating and potable water solutions that are both efficient and climate-neutral. The planned energy center will utilize cutting-edge technologies such as air-to-water and water-to-water heat pumps. Additionally, a gas-fired boiler plant will be implemented to cover peak loads, ensuring high supply security. We continuously optimize the operation of our systems through the use of advanced PLC/DDC technology and remote control systems. These technologies enable us to monitor and adjust operating parameters in real-time, ensuring maximum efficiency and reliability. The project is a milestone for sustainable energy and electromobility at the revitalized office location Paradome in Potsdam. After extensive renovation, this historic industrial monument is being transformed into a modern office space for the Potsdam Customs Office – a fascinating blend of history and future.
