These firms may become the consultative sales force new AI technologies need in order to be integrated into large enterprises: After ChatGPT's release in November of 2022, large software companies and a sea of new startups have begun offering a range of enterprise AI solutions from custom models to customer service agents Excitement is building throughout the corporate landscape to utilize new AI tools. However, finding the promised productivity gains has not been so simple. Integrating new AI tooling comes with questions across companies from employees asking: Will this replace my job? to Executives wondering: Are they using our proprietary data to train their models? This organizational resistance to new AI tools seems to have led to the consultative sales force of consultative sales forces -- consulting firms -- to be called in. These firms are often the go-to partners for large corporations to not only integrate new technology but also manage risk. This approach could put them in a perfect position to sell the solutions themselves: PwC has Partnered with OpenAI to sell ChatGPT Enterprise to their customers. PwC's U.K. and U.S. branches will be the first to resell OpenAI's business-focused chatbot. "We are actively engaged in GenAI with 950 of our top 1,000 US consulting client accounts" - PwC Mckinsey has also recently inked a partnership with Microsoft to help clients with AI integration. The two have joined forces to leverage generative AI in enterprise and shared services operations, enhancing the long-standing alliance between the two companies. Their partnership will combine Microsoft's Copilot Studio with McKinsey's expertise in strategy, organizational change, digital transformation, and implementation. Led by QuantumBlack McKinsey’s designated AI consulting arm. These partnerships very well may be both a reaction and a first step as large-scale integration and resistance are the key issues at hand for new AI Products.

NVIDIA Releases Ace: The Future of Digital AI Avatars Modular components designed to generate realistic digital human content, including speech recognition, and text-to-speech, facial and body animations, enabling lifelike virtual interactions. Initial Industry Applications: Customer service, gaming, and healthcare sectors are the first to implement ACE technologies to create lifelike digital humans for tasks like customer service or telehealth. The rise of AI agents, or automated autonomous software programs that can interact with the world just like humans to complete tasks, will only become more advanced as agents themselves can now take on digital avatars to perform jobs, such as customer interactions.

AI adds textures and elements that surpass what concept artists typically achieve. John Lindley (Director of Photography, "Justified: City Primeval") Recalled the initial skepticism around digital cameras and drew parallels with current AI technology. He highlighted that despite technological advancements, human involvement has increased, rather than decreased. Netflix CO-CEO Opines on AI: Ted Sarandos Stated recently that AI will not produce better screenplays or performances than great writers and actors. 🧬 "We make tests intelligent by connecting laboratory results to a patient’s own clinical data" 📡 Tempus AI a health tech company, that provides "AI-enabled precision medicine" filed for an IPO with the SEC on May 21 -Founded in 2015, Tempus has developed the world's largest library of clinical and molecular data and an operating system for precision medicine. -They focus on AI-enabled diagnostics across various fields including cardiology, neuropsychology, and radiology and their Platform can ingest real-time healthcare data to personalize diagnostics. -Its services are utilized by 95% of the largest public pharmaceutical companies and over 7,000 physicians. -Tempus' platform connects providers through "dedicated data pipelines that create a network of healthcare institutions through approximately 450 unique data connections across more than 2,000 healthcare institutions." -Tempus has partnered with major pharmaceutical companies such as Pfizer, GSK, and AstraZeneca.

New Research From Anthropic (The Maker of Claude) - They have the first detailed look inside a modern large language model. -A subfield of AI research: Mechanistic Interpretability Aims to understand how these models work by examining their internal mechanisms Or “Reverse engineer neural networks” - Anthropic -For the first time, Anthropic made significant strides in interpreting AI models, specifically Claude 3 Sonnet, using a technique called "dictionary learning." -Finding Patterns: They identified approximately 10 million patterns, or "features," that represent different concepts within the model. -When these features are triggered they change model output. -This is the first step in understanding models and tracing LLMs from training data to final output.

Designed to provide users with quick, concise answers to their queries. These are expected to reduce the need for users to click through to websites for information -The Powerhouse Behind the Redesign: Google’s Gemini AI model plays a central role in the new features Capable of summarizing web content efficiently Trained on vast amounts of data -Concerns Raised by Web Publishers Potential for a significant reduction in site traffic AI-generated summaries may discourage users from visiting websites for more detailed information Possible impact on ad revenue and user engagement for web publishers -"In earlier tests, Google served ads above and below AI Overview, but it now plans to experiment with sponsored search and shopping ads within the window itself"- Marketingdrive

Creative Artists Agency (CAA) is rolling out "theCAAvault" 🎥 🤖 -A virtual media storage system for A-list talent to store digital assets (names, images, digital scans, voice recordings) that aims to protect celebrities' AI likenesses. -TheCAAvault allows celebrities to securely store, share, and monetize their digital doubles. This ensures rightful compensation for using digital likenesses, enhancing rather than reducing opportunities. -This initiative is a response to debates on AI cloning's impact on job opportunities and unauthorized use of deceased celebrities' likenesses. - "Frankly, our view has been that the law is going to take time to catch up, and so by the talent creating and owning their digital likeness with [theCAAvault]… there is now a legitimate way for companies to work with one of our clients"- CAA Head of Strategic Development, -This is occurring while Alphabet (Google) and Meta are negotiating with Hollywood studios to license content for AI video generation software.
