Specsavers' Best Worst Team campaign had all the right ingredients to become a nationwide success, from the heartwarming Cinderella story of Cwm Albion – a team that went from losing all 22 games in the 2022/23 season to finishing 7th in the league – to open top bus parades and the mystery reveal of football legend, Harry Redknapp, as the team’s new manager. We worked with Tangerine and Golin to amplify the campaign's inspiring story and secured press coverage in several publications including Wales Online and ITV Wales. Rebecca Henderson Nicola Gibbons
The final episode of our content series, Specsavers’ Best Worst Team, went live this week and marked the end of a hugely successful campaign both on and off the pitch. The first seven episodes have been viewed over 20 million times across social and with the eighth promising an open top bus tour and some final words of wisdom from Harry Redknapp, it’s no surprise we saw blanket coverage in the press. Well done to the Tangerine & Specsavers teams working hard all year round to develop and execute a story that grabs and holds attention every step of way. This week (1-7 July) is Alcohol Change UK's #AlcoholAwarenessWeek. The harm caused by alcohol is a major public health issue, affecting individuals’ health, the NHS, the economy and families. Recognising this, in 2020, Llywodraeth implemented a minimum price for selling alcohol to tackle hazardous and harmful drinking. We worked alongside Llywodraeth to run a multi-channel campaign to raise awareness of this new law for both the trade and public. You can read more about it here: https://lnkd.in/eh3YgznS
