In Novo Nordisk, we have a dedicated focus on creating an inclusive work environment that welcomes and embraces the diversity of our colleagues.
We aspire to nurture a culture of belonging, where colleagues thrive and feel appreciated for who they are and the uniqueness they bring – that be diversity of thought, cultural diversity, gender diversity, as well as many more #dimensionsofdiversity.
We have ambitious plans on how to achieve this – and I truly believe that by sharing ideas and practices across industries, we can all learn and be inspired. Therefore, we have recently established a D&I Think Tank in Development, a part of Novo Nordisk, responsible for clinical trials and developing drugs to market.
Together with experts and leaders from global and Danish companies and academia, we aim to support, inspire, and drive the D&I agenda collectively.
We aim for amplified impact – across companies, geographies and societies.
This week, we had our second meeting and I took part in the discussion related to ‘Corporate partnerships and Pride celebrations’. I enjoyed the openness and trust in our discussion. A personal reflection from this discussion as well as previous conversations on topics related to D&I, then as a leader, it is important for me to understand my own bias and privilege and how this influences my leadership behaviour.
A big thank you to the members for sharing experiences and diverse perspectives - and to Kenny Fredsted and Louise Lundquist for organizing.
I have high expectations to this community and I look forward to many more inspiring debates with this great group of #D&I practitioners, experts, and leaders from Danish and global companies.
