We’re excited to introduce the experienced investors who will be assessing the pitches of 7 companies on June 26th at 10:00 AM CEST supported by CircularInvest's initiative to enhance investment readiness in the circular economy across Europe.   📌 CircularInvest offers specialized support for circular economy projects by enhancing investment readiness and securing financial resources. It offers tailored assistance in circular solutions, business planning, fundraising, and legal frameworks. It's an EU-funded program aiding the Circular Cities and Regions Initiative and the Circular Economy Action Plan.   ⭐ Giulia Tegas is currently an Analyst at the European Circular Bioeconomy Fund (ECBF). She has a background in Business Management and Entrepreneurship and holds an MSc in Sustainable Development. A strong international background characterizes her, with experiences in seven different countries both in and outside of Europe. Before joining ECBF, she worked in a startup incubator and several startups before transitioning to the venture capital (VC) side. ECBF is a private impact fund based in Germany with a total fund size of 300 million euros. The fund focuses on growth-stage startups in the bioeconomy sector, divided into four verticals: AgTech & Blue Economy, Industrial Biotechnology, Packaging & Construction, and Food & Nutrition.   ⭐ Anil Maguru, Partner at Satgana, has 10 years of experience in impact investing across Europe and Africa. He currently co-manages a €10M climate tech fund. Previously, he worked at a €1.5Bn Family Office.   ⭐ Anne LEBRETON-WOLF is a Partner at Good Only Ventures and has been a Business Angel in PreSeed/Seed/Series A in French & European Tech startups since 2012. With a background in engineering, she has a deep understanding of the main challenges currently facing the EU industry. Anne also serves as an expert and mentor on several tech/deeptech innovation programs. She co-founded Good Only Ventures, a French impact investment vehicle that focuses on Blue & Ocean Tech, Education, Health, and greener Consumer Habits.   ⭐ Joseph Boadi-Darkwah is an Investment Associate at HYUNDAI CRADLE. He is part of the investment team at Hyundai CRADLE Berlin and is responsible for sourcing new deals, executing strategic investments, and managing portfolio companies. Joseph is passionate about connecting revolutionary technologies with industries, particularly in sectors such as cleantech, robotics, and the hydrogen economy. Before joining Hyundai, Joseph worked as a VC and successfully closed more than 10 early-stage deep tech deals.
