CFR Global Executive Search’s Post

Knowing how to do a job is certainly important. But approaching it on the very first day in the company with the right perspective and mindset will greatly improve the new person’s capability to adjust swiftly to their new function in the company and develop a sense of purpose in their job. Carlos Cámara Diez #CFRGlobalExecutiveSearch Spain explains why we advise our clients to hold a kick-off meeting with a newly hired employee to clarify expectations and the role expected from the new person on board. #OnBoarding #Talents #Hiring #ExecutiveSearch #Growth #Leaders  https://lnkd.in/dTKWf73M

I fully agree. An on-boarding process from the company is critical. A new hire or even transfer within a company should have a formal, fit for purpose Management of Change process.

Totally agree Carlos, the onboarding process is important for both the new executive and the company to understand both why they are linked and to define the KPI´s for success. I remember several years ago my own on-boarding course in a company was delayed for one year, then I looked for help to understand better a complex global organization. This was an interesting challenge.
