【Living tips / 生活における情報】 ユーロスターのセント・パンクラス駅に 指紋と写真のキオスクが設置 Fingerprint and photo kiosks at Eurostar's St Pancras station ユーロスターの乗客は、欧州連合（EU）の新たな出入国管理システムの一環と��て、ロンドンにあるセント・パンクラス駅で乗車前に指紋と写真を取る必要が生じるため、通常よりも早く駅に到着する必要がありそうです。 Eurostar passengers are likely to have to arrive at St Pancras station earlier than usual as part of the European Union's new immigration control system, which will require passengers to be fingerprinted and photographed before boarding the train. 今年10月6日に新システムが導入されると、EU以外のパスポート所持者は全員、この措置に従う必要があります。 All non-EU passport holders will have to comply with this measure when the new system is introduced on 6th of October this year. 現在同駅では既に、記録を取るための49のキオスク設置工事が始まっており、導入に際し、混雑で列車の遅延を引き起こすことが予想されるため、出発の少なくとも2時間前に駅に到着することが求められるようになるとのことです。 Work has already started on installing 49 kiosks at the station, which are currently being used to take records. Non-alcoholic beer is on the rise and is being ordered more frequently in bars and restaurants. The increase in consumption of non-alcoholic drinks is due to the spread of healthy lifestyles. In addition, the taste and production of non-alcoholic beer has evolved in recent years, reports the Telegraph. オランダではノンアルコールビールの人気が高まっています。ノンアルコールビールは増加傾向にあり、バーやレストランで注文される頻度も増えています。ノンアルコール飲料の消費量が増えているのは、健康的なライフスタイルが広まっているためです。さらに、近年、ノンアルコールビールの味と生産が進化しているとテレグラフ紙は伝えています。   According to Mein Waterlander, director of the Dutch Beer Industry Association, currently one in 14 beers sold in pubs and supermarkets in the Netherlands is non-alcoholic. This figure is expected to increase significantly in the future. "It should be one in 10 by 2030," he told the Telegraph. Their Majesties will make an official visit to the UK for eight days from 22nd of this month, where they will attend welcoming events as state guests. 今年初のイギリスへの国賓訪問は日本だそうです。両陛下は、今月22日から8日間の日程でイギリスを公式訪問し、国賓として歓迎行事などに臨まれます。   The British flag, the Union Jack, is flown on poles on both sides of the street interspersed with the Japanese flag in alternating rows. 通りの両脇に並ぶポールには日本とイギリスの国旗が交互に並ぶように、掲げてられています。   The Mull is used for royal events such as coronations and state visits, and on the 15th of this month, a parade was held to celebrate the birth of King Charles, 76 this year. 「ザ・マル」は戴冠式（たいかんしき）や国賓訪問など王室行事の際に利用され、今月15日には、今年76歳となるチャールズ国王の誕生を祝うパレードが行われました。   This is a rare sight in London, England. ＜Minimum Wage Update in NL, July 2024 / オランダ最低賃金アップデート 2024年7月版＞   On July 1, 2024, the statutory minimum wage in the Netherlands for workers aged 21 and over will increase by 3.1%, from 13.27 to 13.68 euros per hour. On January 1, 2024, a statutory minimum hourly wage was introduced, abolishing fixed minimum monthly, weekly, and daily wages. From that point on, employers are obliged by law to pay hourly workers at least the statutory minimum hourly wage.
