This is a very basic course. Especially as it relates to exponential smoothing, an explanation of what smoothing factor to use would have been very helpful. Saying "use whatever works best for you" gives no direction on how to select a smoothing factor and for beginners is quite unhelpful if we are looking to apply this technique in our own work.
