Workday HRIS Analyst
The HRIS Workday Analyst is responsible for directing the strategic vision, execution, and oversight of the organization's HRIS systems. This role focuses on ensuring the HRIS aligns with the needs of the HR department and the broader organization, optimizing technology to enhance HR processes, improve data management, and elevate the employee experience. Reporting to the SVP of HR, this position plays a crucial role in streamlining HR operations and ensuring data integrity.
Responsibilities:
Collaborative Business Partner
Act as a strategic business partner across departments.
Focus on problem-solving with key stakeholders to achieve clients's initiatives.
Strategic Leadership
Develop and implement the HRIS strategy in line with organizational goals.
Lead the selection, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of HRIS platforms.
Ensure the HRIS supports functions such as recruitment, onboarding, payroll, benefits administration, performance management, and compliance.
System Management
Oversee the configuration, maintenance, and upgrades of HRIS systems.
Ensure data integrity, security, and privacy compliance.
Manage integrations with other business applications and third-party vendors.
Process Improvement
Identify opportunities to optimize HR processes through technology.
Implement best practices for HR data management and reporting.
Lead projects to automate and enhance HR workflows.
Data Analytics and Reporting
Develop and maintain HR dashboards and reports to support data-driven decision-making.
Analyze HR metrics and provide insights to HR leadership and business partners.
Ensure accurate and timely reporting for compliance and regulatory requirements.
Team Leadership and Development
Manage and mentor the HRIS team, offering guidance and professional development.
Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
Coordinate with HR, IT, and other departments to ensure seamless HRIS operations.
Vendor Management
Manage relationships with HRIS vendors and service providers.
Negotiate contracts and service-level agreements.
Monitor vendor performance to ensure service delivery meets organizational standards.
Required Qualifications:
Workday is Required
Preferred experience with systems including ADP Workforce, Humanity, VidCruiter, and Google Workspace.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
A Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR, HRIP) is preferred.
Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in HRIS management or a related field
Proficiency with HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM), HR analytics tools, and project management software.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage complex projects, and drive organizational change.
Strong data analysis, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Experience managing large-scale HRIS implementations and upgrades.
Strategic thinking and autonomy, exceptional attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills, along with communication proficiency, leadership, and teamwork.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time remote position. As an exempt employee, availability outside of normal business hours may be required at the request of the SVP, Human Resources.
