Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

The ideal candidate is a passionate, customer-centric digital marketer with a relentless drive for developing content, and a track record of delivering ROI-positive content marketing programs at scale.

  • Up to date with new online trends, SEO, CRM and able to transfer these into Optoma’s online marketing strategies that fit into the entire marketing roadmap for both B2B and B2C channels.
  • Strong understanding & experience of digital (PPC, SEO, online advertising) and direct marketing.

Drive and lead the digital marketing efforts.

  • Ensure content provides clear benefits to the target audience, conveys the Optoma brand voice & personality, and meets high quality standards; author & execute content.
  • Create and implement the digital/eMarketing and marketing programs to maximize sales and marketing investment.
  • Work within Marketing Team to design banner programs, landing pages, and other creative materials to optimize Optoma’s brand presence.
  • Responsible for all online customer communication. Drive continued innovation in evolving content formats most effective at engaging our target audience.
  • Design, execute, and optimize eBlast communications using MailChimp, Constant Contact, and analyzing metrics/results for both Optoma and its customers.
  • Able to segment the database and nurture leads to help business units successfully transform the email lists into sales or reach other campaign goals.
  • Able to manage the e-marketing database for both B2B and B2C channels.
  • Develop ongoing digital marketing strategy, plan and execution and reporting.

Social Media - Responsible for Optoma’s social media strategy and execution. Manage Optoma’s presence on social media channels and communities, including Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin,Youtube, and Wikipedia to meet marketing goals.

  • Create, re-purpose post content.
  • Build stronger relationships with the online community and influencers
  • Utilize the platforms to create buzz and promote brand and products.
  • Drive traffic to optomausa.com through SEO techniques.
  • Research, plan, and execute SEO, SEM and web analytics best practices to improve website traffic and ranking.
  • Grow social media followers.

Web site front end management

  • Manage all content and upload to the CMS platform for all three web sites USA, Mexico and Brazil; optomausa.com, optoma.mx and optoma.br
  • Responsible for all product launch content to align with announcements
  • Measurement and data reporting using Google Analytics to evaluate traffic and make recommendations to drive traffic and SEO.
  • Ownership of content uploading via Website CMS and across other platforms.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of website development & optimization, with a passion for researching website functionality and competitor benchmarking.

Candidate Specification

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in front end web site management, digital Marketing, CRM, direct marketing, social media marketing.
  • Experience building & development communications across website & social media platforms
  • Experience in analytics tools eg: Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Google Search Console and/or other SEO research tools
  • Superior knowledge of current eMarketing and Web design trends and techniques.
  • Knowledge of email marketing best practices and CAN SPAM compliance
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills.
  • Cutting-edge knowledge of social media networks, and user experience with Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn and Flickr required.
  • Working knowledge of reporting and project management tools such as: Google Analytics, CMS platforms, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Planner etc
