Job Responsibilities
Develop and oversee the implementation of the operating plan to realize the strategic vision, including long-range capacity planning, with a strong focus on execution.
Manage and monitor divisional operations in alignment with the firm's comprehensive business plan, making necessary adjustments to structures, processes, systems, and organizational capabilities.
Continuously assess the efficiency and productivity of client operations personnel and processes within the department.
Evaluate the efficiency and productivity of all members of the Wealth Management Advisor Team and their underlying processes on an ongoing basis.
Manage and update operational policies and procedures in a timely manner.
Collaborate with the firm's COO to set the divisional tone and exemplify desired behaviors, fostering a culture of service excellence both internally and externally.
Work with the Firm's Director of Business Development & Marketing to develop and assess the division's marketing program.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in the financial services sector, preferably within a registered investment advisory (RIA) firm, demonstrating progressive operational excellence and achievement.
A Master’s degree from an accredited university, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics.
Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Proven ability to successfully execute initiatives.
Exceptional executive-level communication skills, internally and externally.
Established track record as a people leader, with strong coaching and mentoring abilities.
Desire and ability to thrive in a smaller organizational setting.
Proficiency in training financial planning associates on technology solutions and best practices within the firm.
Willingness to take on additional responsibilities as required.
Preferred Experience
Experience in a Registered Investment Advisory (RIA) firm.
Proficiency in Portfolio Management and Financial Planning software platforms such as eMoney preferred.
Background in wealth management or tax planning preferred.
