Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Vice President of Engineering to spearhead our engineering initiatives, driving the development of next-generation laser technologies. If you possess a proven track record in engineering leadership, an in-depth understanding of laser systems, and a knack for fostering innovation and excellence within your team, we’d love to meet you.

What you'll do:

Strategic Leadership: Craft and execute the engineering strategy aligned with our corporate goals. Inspire and lead the engineering team towards innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Team Management: Mentor, manage, and lead a diverse team of engineers. Promote professional growth through training, performance evaluations, and career development opportunities.

Product Development: Oversee the full product development lifecycle, from concept to production, delivering high-quality, innovative laser products that meet customer needs and industry standards.

Project Management: Handle multiple engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope. Utilize effective project management practices to track progress, mitigate risks, and resolve issues.

Technology Advancement: Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends. Drive innovation by identifying opportunities, evaluating technological advancements, and integrating cutting-edge solutions into our product portfolio.

Collaboration: Work in tandem with R&D, manufacturing, sales, and marketing teams to ensure cohesive integration of engineering efforts with broader business objectives. Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Quality Assurance: Establish and uphold rigorous quality assurance processes. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.

Budget Management: Develop and manage the engineering budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation to achieve strategic goals. Monitor expenditures and implement cost-effective measures to maximize ROI.

Customer Focus: Partner with sales and marketing teams to understand customer needs and market demands. Align engineering solutions with customer requirements to elevate satisfaction.

What You'll Bring:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field preferred); advanced degrees (Master’s or Ph.D.) are a plus.

15+ years of engineering leadership experience in laser technology or related fields.

Proven success in product development and project management in a high-tech environment.

Strong expertise in laser systems, optics, photonics, and related technologies.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a diverse engineering team.

Strategic mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
