What: Vice President Finance- Mechanical General Contractor

Salary Range: Up to $150k to $200k depending on experience
Qualifications:
Accounting Knowledge:
Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Familiarity with construction ERP systems
Experience with consolidation accounting for C-Corporations with LLC subsidiaries
Leadership Skills:
Ability to run a team of 5-6 people
Independence:
Individuals who are independent and do not require micromanagement
Industry Experience:
Experience in General Contracting (GC), Mechanical, Engineering, HVAC, electrical, or plumbing
Regulatory Knowledge:
Experience with multi-state corporate registrations and licensing
Knowledge of sales and use tax rules for contracting
Familiarity with heating and air replacement
Must have multi-state work experience, including:
Department of Revenue
Secretary of State / State licensing boards Paperwork rules
Position Type: Hands-on role requiring proactive involvement. The ideal candidate could fill a VP role but the focus is on being a doer, not a manager.
