Overview
We are seeking a Test Lead who will support our client on a Workday Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Solution project.
Duties
Responsible for leading all test planning and execution activities across all testing phases (unit test, integration test, UAT, performance test, mock cutovers, security test, etc.).
Assists the NYPA technical team to create a stable and up-to-date environment that is comprised of end-to-end applications (i.e., new solution + legacy + 3rd party bolt-on). Managing, and monitoring of all test execution, defect tracking, resolution, and overall status.
Ensuring all milestones and deliverables are met in each testing phase.
Assists NYPA Process Leads in ensuring adequate NYPA staffing to meet integration and UAT testing cycle schedules.
Identifying and managing testing-related risks with full transparency to the team and to project management.
Ensures proper test documentation and reusability.
Works in collaboration with the NYPA to complete knowledge transfer in a timely manner of all testing tools, methodologies, and documentation.
Provides solutions for sharing data from the system for descriptive and advanced analytics using cloud capabilities/tools and BI tools.
Mandatory Qualifications
In depth knowledge of the Finance, SSM and HCM Management and has and in-depth knowledge of testing activities and tools
Desirable Quafications
7 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance roles.
Proven experience leading test planning and execution activities across all testing phases, including unit testing, integration testing, UAT, performance testing, mock cutovers, and security testing.
Strong understanding of end-to-end application environments, including new solutions, legacy systems, and third-party integrations.
Knowledge of cloud capabilities and BI tools for data sharing and analytics.
Excellent communication skills to work effectively with NYPA technical teams and Process Leads.
Experience in ensuring proper test documentation and reusability.
