The Senior Vice President of Product Engineering for Optics is a pivotal leadership role responsible for building and leading a high-performance team to drive the engineering, development, innovation and optimization of cutting-edge optical systems, ensuring alignment with business objectives, customer requirements, and market demands.
Key Responsibilities include:
· Strategic Leadership
· Build & Lead the Product Engineering team
· Own & Drive Product Engineering capability within new product introduction process
· Financial and Resource Management
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Optics, Physics, or related field
· 12+ years of experience in product engineering, with a focus on optical systems and assemblies or related technologies
· 8+ years working in product development, having launched 5+ hardware products into the market
· Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
· Proven track record in hiring and developing great teams
· US Citizenship
Preferred Qualifications
· Master's degree in Engineering, Optics, Physics, or related field
· In-depth knowledge of optical systems, design methodologies, engineering analysis, manufacturing processes, and relevant software tools
· Experience with Fire Control and Night Vision Systems
· Strong business acumen, with the ability to align technical strategies with commercial objectives and market opportunities
