Social Content Writer & Strategist

NFX is hiring a Social Content Writer & Strategist to join our team in person in our office in SF. We are on a mission to be the top Seed VC firm in the world. We're closing in on #1, and we need you to help us get there. But first, take everything that ”Social media manager” used to mean and toss it in the trash. This is not that. This is a role with new frontiers. It's a role where you get to invent new formats, use new tools (generative AI is changing the game), and reach into the minds of the smartest investors and founders in the world. This job is for you if... You have at least 3 years of experience posting like crazy on several forms of social and writing compelling content. You are a startup person, plugged into the VC and startup scenes. You can demonstrate this on day 1. You are an experimenter. Quality experimentation at high volume is your love language. You want to see what works. You invent, ship, measure it, report back, try again. LinkedIn. Twitter. YouTube. YouTube Shorts. Show us how it's done. You are blazing fast. You're organized like crazy. You love editorial calendars, check lists, deadlines, and you create order amid the chaos. You are playing to win. Because we are too, in support of our companies and founders. This job is NOT for you if... You have never worked in tech. You don't have any experience or exposure to startups. You need your own byline. You are all ideas and no execution. Show us what you can do. You are afraid to roll up your sleeves and write and post and measure and report. If you're imagining yourself in this role, great! These are some things you should expect to do: Work with our CMO, content team, and directly with our GPs to play a critical role in building NFX's social media presence and driving engagement with our target audience. Create social playbooks for five General Partners based on their topics and voice, working with the content team to produce a steady stream of social for each. Connect with the world's leading tech founders & broader start-up ecosystem. Follow, read and authentically connect with people on select channels. Create and remix and publish content for Twitter and LinkedIn. Bonus: Create and remix and publish videos for YouTube. More about the NFX team that should confirm your hopes that this role is for you: We operate in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, high EQ environment, requiring everyone to work full-time with multiple constituents. The role requires collaboration with remote team members, so communication is critical. You will leverage various tools and technology including email, Slack, Google Docs/G Suite, Dropbox, Wordpress, Zoom, internet research tools, and phone in daily work. Our HQ is in Hayes Valley, San Francisco. The local team works in office three days per week, 2 days from home. NFX is a killer team and organization, and we’re well taken care of.
