Kforce has a client that is seeking a Fully Remote Senior Systems Administrator to join their team. Responsibilities:
- Senior Systems Administrator will provide subject matter expertise for Globalscape EFTP platform
- Work with project team to develop Globalscape event rules in accordance with existing policies and procedures
- Perform common system administration tasks on the Globalscape system when necessary
- Support integrations between third party tools or services and Globalscape
- As a Senior Systems Administrator, you will assist in real-time troubleshooting of Globalscape event rule and file movement processes
- Ensure 24x7 operations of the mission critical Globalscape systems
- Work with Information Security to ensure data security for production, staging, and development environments as they are related to Globalscape
- Ensure compliance with PCI policies
- Required Minimum BS/BA degree in IT or related field preferred; Equivalent experience may be substituted in lieu of education
- Experience with management and support of Windows, Azure Cloud, and Active Directory
- Experience with PowerShell, VB script, Python, or other batch scripting technologies
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure is required
- Experience with enterprise applications (support, and troubleshooting)
- Understanding of mature Enterprise processes, Change Control, Release Management, and Governance
- Expert-level debug/troubleshooting skills
- Troubleshooting with cloud infrastructure and applications
- Exposure to Azure cloud hosting platforms
- Deploy updates and fixes, and provide Level 2 technical support
- Perform root cause analysis of production errors and resolve technical issues
- Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance specific to Globalscape event rules
