Role Description:


The Operations Senior Manager will be responsible for managing and optimizing the company's human resources and financial operations. This role requires a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to managing day-to-day operations while aligning them with the company’s long-term goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR and finance, with experience in a fast-paced, startup environment.


Responsibilities:


Human Resources Management


  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process to ensure the hiring of top talent.
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
  • Maintain pay plan and benefits program.
  • Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.


Finance Management:


  • Oversee financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Develop and manage annual budgets and long-term financial plans.
  • Monitor financial performance by measuring and analyzing results, initiating corrective actions, and minimizing the impact of variances.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage cash flow, banking, and investor relations.


Operational Efficiency:


  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Lead the implementation of new processes and systems as needed to support growth.
  • Collaborate with other department heads to support overall company objectives.
  • Ensure the smooth running of all aspects of the company’s operations.


What We Are Looking For:


  • Proven experience as an Operations Manager, Senior Manager, or similar leadership role in a technology startup or fast-growing company.
  • Strong understanding of HR and finance principles and best practices.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field. MBA or relevant professional certification is a plus.
  • 7+ years of experience in operations management, with at least 3 years in a senior management role.
  • Demonstrable experience in developing strategic and business plans.
  • Thorough knowledge of market changes and forces that influence the company.
  • In-depth knowledge of corporate governance and general management best practices.
  • Familiarity with diverse business functions such as marketing, PR, etc.
