ClimeCo is seeking a full-time, Senior Manager on our Commercial team. This position will be remote within the United States or Canada.


Position Description

The Senior Manager, Commercial role will lead the strategy and implementation of activities that drive new business in close collaboration with product and service offering leaders. The role will manage three pillars of activities: sales enablement, account management, and market development.

Key responsibilities include:


Sales Enablement

  • Support sales pitches, ensuring standardization/ quality control
  • Collaborate with product teams to develop and design master product sales decks: narrative, visuals, and pricing guidance
  • Develop and implement strategy for lead generation and conversion for target industries
  • Lead OneClimeCo sales opportunities, identifying appropriate staff and ensuring alignment with ClimeCo goals

Account Management

  • Design health checks, appreciation and feedback system for clients
  • Build and deploy ‘Guest Star’ program for subject matter expertise
  • Develop account management system in collaboration with BUs
  • Define key accounts
  • Conduct post-mortem on existing key accounts to identify gaps and issues with current practices
  • Develop best practices guidance and tools, such as quarterly check-ins, customer journey/archetype roadmaps, and quality control mechanisms
  • Identify executive advisors for key accounts
  • Support change management / roll out of program

Market Development

  • Define ClimeCo’s ‘rightspace’ for thought leadership and deploying assets in partnership with marketing
  • Manage graphic design center of excellence – design strategy/ partners
  • Quantitative refresh on market development/brand differentiation


Minimum Requirements


  • Degree in Business, Sustainability Management, or related field
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in project management
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in business development and proven consistent success in sales
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in account management and stakeholder management
  • Prior experience as a people/performance manager is a plus
  • Process a high level of emotional intelligence
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in developing sales strategies
  • Possess subject matter expertise in ESG Advisory and/or carbon markets


Compensation and Benefits


ClimeCo offers a competitive salary and bonus structure with benefits including 401(k) with employer match, medical/dental/vision benefits, EAP program, paid time off, holidays, and more.


The salary range for a well-qualified Sr. Manager is $100,000 to $120,000 USD annually base salary.

Additional Information


The position is a full-time, salaried and exempt, which is ineligible for overtime pay under the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act.
