About The Role

The Senior Learning Experience Designer (LXD) is a dedicated resource to our client partner, an American multinational manufacturer of food products. The Senior LXD will design large programs for their corporate university working with the client’s senior stakeholders in addition to the SweetRush team.

Hourly rate: $60 - $65 per hour

Availability: 40 hours per week

Contract Length: W-2 Hourly Employee 10 - 12 months

Responsibilities

Client Facing

  • Participate in virtual presentations and represent the voice of instructional design
  • Participate in or lead scoping meetings with clients to ascertain their needs, ask appropriate questions, gather information, and document responses
  • Provide real-time recommendations and consulting to engage clients, fuel discussions, and build trust and rapport

Solution Design

  • Apply an understanding of instructional design approaches and define solutions, training challenges, and needs
  • Lead client discussions for corporate university projects and define the solution (including seat times, multimedia treatments, etc.)
  • Participate in brainstorming unique, innovative solutions that meet client business objectives

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in the training/learning field, a strong understanding of all aspects of blended learning solutions
  • 3+ years experience working in a consulting environment
  • 3+ years experience working in a client-facing capacity
  • Proficiency using Workday
  • Proven ability to work on a highly collaborative team
  • Proven performance consulting experience
  • Experience writing persuasive learning solutions
  • Experience with strong client-facing communication
  • An understanding of instructional design approaches and mapping learning objectives to levels of interactivity and experience applying this knowledge in a consultative manner, factoring in client needs and preferences
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; highly professional demeanor in all communications
  • Warmth and ability to quickly establish trust and rapport
  • Excellent time management skills; ability to juggle multiple projects and prioritize effectively
