Senior Accounting Manager

LaSalle Network has partnered with a growing client in the oil and gas industry who is looking to bring a Senior Accounting Manager onto their team in Allen, TX! The Senior Accounting Manager will be responsible for owning the cash management process along with general ledger accounting, while providing support to direct reports. This role requires strong communication skills, as well as a deep understanding of accounting principles. If you are looking for a challenging, stable position, read on!

Senior Accounting Manager Responsibilities:

• Manage daily cash flow activities, including cash positioning, forecasting and liquidity management
• Monitor bank account balances and ensure adequate liquidity to meet operational needs
• Oversee treasury operations, including cash disbursements, wire transfers and electronic payments

• Assist the Controller with special projects
• Support the preparation of the annual budget
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, accounting standards and internal controls related to accounts receivable management
• Support internal and external audits by providing accurate documentation, explanations and reconciliations as needed
• Reconcile payments between accounting and billing systems
• Supervise and mentor staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficiency and accuracy in their work

Senior Accounting Manager Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in with accounting or finance, within the oil and gas industry
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field required
• CPA preferred
• Knows Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and audit procedures
• 2+ years of people management experience.
