Position Summary
We are currently seeking a Senior Accounting Controller to join our dynamic global Accounting team. In this role, you will oversee essential financial operations across multiple subsidiaries and headquarters. Your responsibilities will include leading consolidation processes, driving strategic financial projects, coordinating audits for compliance, and utilizing data analytics tools for informed decision-making. What You Can Expect
Lead the consolidation process for multiple subsidiaries, refining month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close procedures.
Ensure impeccable data quality standards and maintain accuracy and reliability in all financial records.
Manage VAT declaration, various tax obligations, and General Ledger responsibilities.
Drive monthly reporting, including balance sheet and income statement variance analysis.
Prepare executive/board deliverables, including monthly board reporting and revenue committee presentations.
Coordinate seamlessly with HR and outsourcing firms for payroll management.
Lead external annual audits and ensure smooth compliance and workflow.
Support project management initiatives, especially in IFRS implementation.
What You Bring
Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and practices, with experience in financial reporting, reconciliations, and auditing.
Demonstrated ability to drive strategic financial projects aligned with organizational goals.
Proficiency in data analytics and familiarity with relevant tools such as Salesforce and NetSuite.
Thorough understanding of IFRS.
Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex concepts effectively.
Extensive experience collaborating globally with cross-functional teams.
Exceptional analytical and prioritization abilities, with keen attention to detail.
Proven experience working with public companies.
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
