SEC Reporting Manager

The SEC Financial Reporting Manager will oversee all aspects of financial planning and analysis, reporting, and compliance functions, with a focus on SEC regulatory reporting. This role will be pivotal in ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance in financial reporting processes.

Responsibilities:

  • SEC Document Preparation and Review: Prepare and review supplements and filings of SEC documents such as 10-K, 10Q, 8-K, etc., ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Control Management: Manage and maintain all controls related to external reporting, coordinating their review with both internal and external auditors to ensure effectiveness and compliance.
  • Accounting Research and Technical Memos: Conduct accounting research and prepare technical memos to address complex accounting issues, ensuring adherence to relevant standards and regulations.
  • Collaboration with Legal Department: Work closely with the legal department to facilitate the filing of documents with the SEC, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
  • Financial File Review: Review all financial files related to SEC filings to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Investor Relations and Presentations: Review investor relations materials, Board of Director presentations, and executive management presentations to ensure accuracy and consistency of financial information.
  • Special Projects: Lead special ad hoc projects, including purchase accounting, impairments, and technical accounting matters, providing expertise and guidance as needed.
  • Lease Accounting Management: Manage, supervise, and maintain all lease accounting controls and processes, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience: 5-7 years of relevant experience in SEC reporting, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and financial reporting standards.
  • Certification: CPA certification is required to demonstrate proficiency in accounting principles and practices.
