Project Supervisor - Residential Construction

We are currently seeking an experienced Project Supervisor. This position is accountable for effectively completing assigned projects while meeting financial, quality, and safety expectations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO

Project Execution :

• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring they understand project safety protocols and construction requirements. Maintain continuous communication to monitor progress and quality.
• Foster strong client relationships by providing regular updates on schedules, milestones, and project news.
• Tracks project progress daily, capturing data and photos in project management software.
• Manage all project inspections, schedule attendance, and inform clients of the results. Conduct and document walkthroughs with clients.
• Troubleshoots and resolves issues with subcontractors and clients within parameters of own authority; includes matters of construction, safety, cost, etc; seeks additional guidance from Production Manager as needed.
• Reviews and approves subcontractor invoices ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies with subcontractors and Accounting.
• Manage the punch-list process, scheduling and conducting final inspections with clients. Secure client signatures and inform them of warranty details.

Other Duties :

• May perform hands-on construction tasks such as framing, foundation layout, trim work, drywall patching, and painting to ensure project quality and completion.
• Address client call-back requests and effectively resolve any construction or warranty issues that arise.

Mandatory Role Requirements:

• High school diploma required; associate’s degree or relevant construction certifications a plus.
• Minimum 10 years of residential construction experience.
• Proven supervisory experience (minimum 5 years) in residential construction, with a strong track record of delivering projects on budget, on schedule, and meeting all safety requirements.
• Excellent references from past employers, subcontractors, and clients.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects effectively and adapt to changes in project scope and timelines.
• Strong understanding of construction materials and proper installation methods.
