This marks the start of our groundbreaking multi-year, $24.4 million investment to expand high-speed internet service to over 6,500 locations. The first customers for the Middle Tennessee Electric rural fiber investment will get internet service in May of this year, with installations continuing through 2025. United Communications has invested over $50 million to build a robust fiber optic network in Williamson County, aiming to reach 26,000 homes and businesses by early 2025.
