Position Overview: We are on the lookout for a proactive and skilled Field Project Supervisor to lead our field projects and inspections. The ideal candidate will oversee field project supervisors, manage fieldwork, ensure data accuracy, coordinate site activities, and maintain high standard of safety and quality.


What You'll Do:

  • Lead Field Operations: Oversee all on-site fieldwork, review data periodically, and establish site offices when necessary.
  • Site Management: Coordinate site access, develop entry procedures, and maintain inventory of field and office equipment.
  • Team Coordination: Schedule field technicians, communicate manpower needs to project managers, and attend project-related meetings.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with asbestos, lead, and mold regulations, and operate field equipment following training.
  • Data Management: Collect data, keep accurate notes, records and sketches using WLWCEI field forms, and understand accredited lab sample results to communicate with contractors and clients.
  • Problem Solving: Identify potential problems, keep contractors and engineers informed, and follow company safety policies rigorously.
  • Be available for shift work, including nights, weekends, and holidays.


Qualifications:

  • Education & Experience: High school diploma or GED with 3 years of experience in asbestos, lead, or industrial hygiene technician work.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with relevant standards and regulations, basic math skills, ability to scale and measure distances, and the ability to read construction plans, specifications, and blueprints.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficiency with computers and related software for field and office operations.
  • Certifications: Valid driver's license and applicable state accreditations.


Physical Demands:

  • Frequent standing for up to 8 hours, walking in rugged conditions, and working in adverse weather.
  • Use of hands for tools and controls; reaching, talking, and hearing required.
  • Occasional sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
  • Ability to lift/move up to 25 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities including close, distance, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

  • Outdoor Work: Frequently works in outside weather conditions.
  • Proximity to Hazards: Occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to fumes, airborne particles, and vibration.
  • Noise Level: The noise level in the work environment is often loud.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Required for some aspects of the work, including respirators, hearing protection, fire retardant clothing, Tyvek suits, and more, as required at the job site.
