Who You Are:

You are a passionate engineer who will lead the design and implementation of our Domain Driven Design (DDD) and Micro-frontend architecture to drive innovation and scalability in our web applications. With over 10 years of professional experience, you are a visionary leader with deep technical expertise and the ability to mentor and guide the engineering team.

  • NoSQL Databases: ElasticSearch, DynamoDB
  • Infrastructure: AWS, Azure, Docker, Terraform
  • Operating Systems: Linux, Windows

What You'll Do:

  • Feature Development:
    • Implement and promote Domain Driven Design principles to create scalable, maintainable, and robust web applications.
    • Lead the development and integration of our micro-frontend architecture to enhance modularity and improve the scalability of web applications.
    • Hands-on development and coding to ensure high quality, performant, and reliable web applications.
  • Technical Leadership:
    • Provide strong leadership on technical direction and pragmatic design decisions.
    • Lead technical discussions and architecture reviews to ensure alignment and adherence to architectural standards.
    • Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
    • Maintain good work ethics and a humble attitude while working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team Collaboration and Improvement:
    • Adopt existing team practices and recommend improvements as needed.
    • Mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
    • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, integrating relevant innovations into the development process
Skills & Experience:

  • Professional Experience:
    • At least 10 years of professional experience delivering high-quality production software, with a strong focus on Domain Driven Design and micro-frontend architecture
    • Proven track record of implementing and leading large-scale web applications using modern web technologies.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Strong working knowledge of a programming language in our stack.
    • Strong working knowledge of building and interacting with RESTful APIs.
    • Strong working knowledge of a relational and a NoSQL based database in our stack.
    • Strong computer science fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
    • Strong working knowledge of Domain Driven Design (DDD).
    • Strong working knowledge of micro-frontend architecture.
    • Strong working knowledge of software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build and deployment processes, and testing.
  • Cloud Experience:
    • Strong working knowledge of AWS services such as API Gateway, AWS Lambda, EC2, and ECS.
    • Strong working knowledge of containerization platforms and orchestrators such as Docker and Kubernates
  • Communication and Problem-Solving:
    • Excellent communication and writing skills.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Version Control and Additional Skills:
    • AWS CodeBuild

    • GitHub Actions
Performance Indicators:

  • Successful design, development, deployment, and testing of web applications adhering to Domain Driven Design and micro-frontend architecture principles.
  • Improve application performance and user experience
  • Timely delivery and high-quality results of product roadmap items.
  • Effective technical leadership and pragmatic design decisions.
  • Adoption and improvement of team practices and processes.

  • High-quality, scalable, and maintainable applications that meet product requirements.
  • Lower application load times and error rates.
  • Efficient and timely completion of development tasks.
  • Strong technical guidance and leadership within the team, reflected in the professional growth of junior engineers.
