The OUTSYSTEMS (LOW CODE) DEVELOPER is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software solutions using low-code development platforms. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into functional applications. With a strong emphasis on communication, problem-solving, and proactive engagement, you will be instrumental in creating high-quality products, improving existing applications, and staying abreast of emerging technologies. This position requires a service-driven mindset, the ability to work autonomously within a team environment, and a commitment to continuous skill enhancement-all while ensuring customer satisfaction and driving innovation in IT solutions.
Location: Hybrid environment between in office and remote. Applicant must reside in the Dallas/ Fort Worth, Texas area
Results Measured By The Following Responsibilities
The OUTSYSTEMS (LOW CODE) DEVELOPER is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software solutions using low-code development platforms. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into functional applications.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement software solutions using low-code development platforms
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into functional applications
Test and debug applications to ensure high-quality deliverables; maintain and enhance existing applications to improve functionality and performance
Design and implement business logic, workflows, and user interfaces within low-code/no-code environments.
Integrate low-code/no-code solutions with existing systems and databases.
Ensure security and compliance standards are met when building applications.
Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and build workflow automation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize and enhance low-code/no-code solutions.
Document application configurations, logic, and workflows for knowledge sharing.
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to low-code/no-code applications.
Continuously evaluate and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of low-code/no-code solutions.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in low-code development

Skills/Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred
- 2+ years of experience developing software using OutSystems; demonstrated understanding of OutSystems best practices
- Experience working with .NET, C#, XAML, HTML 5, CSS, JavaScript, SQL Server is a plus
- A natural excitement for technology, developing, and delivering value
- Forward thinker that considers the long-term, not just what is expected now
- Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, REST API, and Test-Driven Development Practices
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Basic knowledge of database concepts and data integration.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and adapt to evolving low-code/no-code technologies.
- Certification in low-code/no-code platforms is a plus.
- Strong problem solving, technical troubleshooting and decision-making skills
