We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team on a one-time, remote basis. In this role, you will be responsible for gathering, preparing, and accurately entering alphabetic and numeric data from various source documents into our computer systems.
Responsibilities
Retrieve source documents such as forms, reports, and spreadsheets from multiple sources
Review documents for completeness and accuracy
Transcribe data from source documents into designated computer systems and databases
Ensure all data is entered in the correct format and fields
Perform quality checks to identify and correct any errors or discrepancies
Maintain organized records of all data entry activities
Communicate with team members to resolve any issues or questions that arise
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 6 months of experience in data entry or a similar role
Excellent typing and data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with a high level of accuracy
Proficient in using computer software and applications, including word processing and spreadsheet programs
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
