Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Finance Associate.

The role is within our Account Receivable Collection and Deduction management team, reporting directly to the Director of Finance. The position will be responsible for all Customer collections and deduction coordination activities including review and approval as per the commercial contract terms and policies of the company.


Responsibilities


Responsible for overseeing the accounts receivable functions of a company, including collections, and ensuring timely payments from customers. Review and research AR Aging reports to ensure timely collection of the invoices, paybacks/billbacks and time management of the outstanding balance. Coordination and Liaison with AR and AP team to communicate discrepancies and for timely dispute and resolution management. Assist in streamlining the accounts receivable process by identifying areas for performance improvement, system and process improvements. Prepare monthly and quarterly cash flow forecast for wholesalers and retailers, assist in preparation of state of accounts for customers and reconciliations.

Prepare analytical and ratio analyses relevant to A/R so management can gain a better understanding of how collection efforts are progressing. Assist in process improvements initiatives, build efficiencies and ad hoc special projects.



Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, statistics, business administration, or relevant field.


Experience in the generic pharmaceuticals industry and understanding generic pharma commercial rebates, chargebacks and returns processes is essential.

  • Analytical Skills:

Ability to research, analyze and pay attention to detail.

  • Finance and Communication skills. A

bility to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders, and communicate with cross functional group

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

and knowledge of SAP and Salesforce preferred.
