Field Service Mechanical Technician

Location: Wichita, KS - Remote

Role & Responsibilities:

• Respond quickly to customer installations or issues
• Assemble and start-up CNC machines and assembly equipment
• Use precision measuring instruments (calipers, levels, indicators, micrometers, etc.)
• Read and follow mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical prints/drawings
• Follow tool layouts and NC code (G-code, M-functions)
• Troubleshoot machine errors
• Respond to emergency calls from customers

Education & Experience Requirements:

• High School Diploma minimum
• Understanding of drawings, schematics, and troubleshooting
• NC programming experience preferred
• Previous experience with CNC machining, machine building, assembly equipment, and robotic cells preferred

General Requirements:

• Ability to travel as needed
• Self-motivated; able to work alone or in a team
• Full understanding of the metric system
• Strong math skills
• Willing to work overtime
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid passport
