Job Description:

The eCommerce quality control specialist will be responsible for developing and executing test plans and procedures to ensure software quality and reliability.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute manual and automated test plans and procedures to ensure software quality and reliability.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects and issues to resolution.
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand software requirements and ensure test coverage.
  • Participate in the design and development of testing frameworks and tools.
  • Analyze test results and provide recommendations to development teams to improve software quality and performance.
  • Document testing processes and procedures to ensure repeatability and accuracy.
  • Work with project managers to ensure testing milestones and deadlines are met.
  • Develop and maintain test data and test environments to support testing efforts.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 1+ years of software testing and quality control experience.


Preferred:

  • Experience in developing and executing manual and automated test plans and procedures.
  • Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing methodologies.
  • Experience in identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects and issues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with test automation frameworks and tools.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
