A well-known nonprofit organization is searching for a Director of Financial Services to sit in their office headquartered in Eugene, OR. This role will start onsite five days per week and may offer some hybrid flexibility down the road. This person will sit in their Business Affairs office and will report into the Associate Vice President. You will be expected to assist with various areas of their financial operations including general accounting, financial reporting/analysis, accounts payables, travel, and tax accounting. This person will be expected to be a point-of-contact for any questions relating to finance, and will help to provide overall staff development and mentoring. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of debits/credits, financial analysis, and helping to proof read over completed work. This person must be a team-player and willing to jump in to support other cross-functional teams as needed.
Must Haves:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related + 3 years of relevant experience, OR equivalent experience
Two years of managing other manager-level employees
Able to work commute or relocate (with an employer-provided package), to Eugene, OR
Preferred Qualifications:
Public sector experience (non-profit, education, etc.)
