As the Director of Finance for our client, you will be responsible for directing and overseeing all accounting and financial activities of the company and will be a key executive leader within the company and the community. You will have direct oversight for accounting and finance along with indirectly overseeing and supporting the IT and risk management functions and our outside tax advisors.


The ideal candidate will have strong leadership experience with demonstrated experience for delivering financial data to be used to validate/challenge underlying assumptions and to develop effective solutions. Other requirements include:


  • Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance required.
  • 5-8 years of accounting and/or finance experience required with a minimum of 3 years in a senior financial position in a for-profit business.
  • Experience with Real Estate accounting highly preferred.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred.
  • Proven ability to adapt and prioritize in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong computer skills which include Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills. A demonstrated track-record of working in and supporting a collaborative environment.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with an ability to develop and foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities. Able to solve problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Able to analyze risks and take appropriate action.
  • Ethical: Acts in accordance with stated values, follows through on promises and use ethical considerations to guide decisions and actions.
