Job Description –

Project Tasks

Have strong consultative skills to help the customer in their ECS environment.

  • Full understanding of Dell ECS/operating system
  • Understanding of Object storage
  • Replication, S3 protocol
  • Knowledge of how Isilon integrate with ECS
  • Below are some of the project tasks the resident will be responsible for during this assignment.
  • Day to day ECS administrative tasks/activities
  • Assist with ECS reporting
  • General troubleshooting/optimization - ensure the customer understands how to manage the ECS environment once residency is completed
  • Resident needs to be confident and proactive in providing best practice recommendations to the customer
  • Conducts knowledge transfer to address the Customer's skills and resource gaps as well as technology recommendations.
  • Share best practice methodologies throughout the residency assignment
  • Resident is expected to be self-directed, able to accomplish tasks with little to no direction from the customer.
  • Customer wants our resource to assist with ECS documentation
