Requirements: Data Scientist with customer facing, Python, R, Sales, Pharma, Biotech, Drug discovery, Testing, Product Management, Knowledge graphs
We are a leading international biotech research firm and we supply technologies and products for preanalytical sample preparation and linked molecular assay solutions. We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Data Scientist to join our Product Management team within Pharma/Biotech. In this role, you will work on developing and maintaining data science models and reporting tools for our products. You will speak with pharma companies and use knowledge graphs to connect entities such as, genes, drugs, molecules to identify actions to disease and development of drugs.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze biology data to uncover new insights and develop data-driven solutions
Customer facing experience doing pre sales & post sales with pharma companies (10% travel)
Develop predictive models to support decision-making
Integrate data from multiple sources to enable accurate results
Develop data visualizations to convey complex data in an easy to understand format
Test and validate data science models and solutions for accuracy
Train and mentor team on data science best practices
Qualifications
Masters degree in bioinformatics, computer and data science , biology, or related fields
5+ years of experience in a biotech/pharma data science
Strong knowledge of Python, R, and data analysis techniques
Customer facing experience in a sales environment
Ability to travel
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability
Nice To Have

Experience with Knowledge graphs, Machine Learning, Algorithms
