What You Will Work On

  • Establish database management systems, standards, guidelines, and quality assurance for database deliverables, including conceptual design, logical databases, capacity planning, and security policies.
  • Document and communicate database designs, ensuring clarity and adherence to standards.
  • Evaluate and install database management systems, coding complex programs and designing logical processes on technical platforms.
  • Develop windows, screens, and reports, and contribute to user interface and business application prototypes.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities, including developing and testing application code in client-server environments.
  • Provide expertise in designing database tables, fields, and schemas, aligning with business requirements and ensuring optimal data storage and organization.
  • Analyze and optimize data storage mechanisms, ensuring relational model integrity and efficiency.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Minimum of 5 years directly relevant work experience.
  • Alternatives accepted:
  • PhD or Law degree + 3 years of experience
  • Master's degree + 4 years of experience
  • Associate's degree + 6 years of experience
  • High School diploma + 7 years of experience
  • Proven expertise in:
  • Establishing database management systems and standards.
  • Developing and implementing database designs and specifications.
  • Coding and testing complex programs in client-server environments.
  • Designing user interfaces and business application prototypes.
  • Ensuring data integrity, security, and optimal storage organization in relational database systems.
