Job Overview:

To better serve the global auto industry electric vehicle trend in the United States, CATL, through its U.S.-based subsidiary, CATK, is seeking a talented and experienced IT Engineer with specialization in data center operations to join our local team. As an IT Engineer at CATK, you will play a critical role in managing and maintaining our central and edge data centers. The ideal candidate will ensure the efficient and stable operation of our data center environments, supporting business growth and technological advancements.



Essential Function

  • sOversee the daily operations and maintenance of the central and edge data center
  • sPlan, design, and implement expansions and installations of data centers, networks, servers, and storage devices based on business need
  • sTroubleshoot and resolve complex hardware and software issues in data center
  • sInstall, configure, and maintain ESXi clusters, including but not limited to Windows and Linux cluster
  • sMonitor and manage data center environments 24/7 to ensure equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliabl
  • yDiagnose and repair hardware problems related to data center environments and server
  • sParticipate in the construction and installation of servers, storage devices, and network equipment in data center
  • sHandle server host failures and operating system issues promptl
  • yMaintain the data center environment, including emergency management of air conditioning failure
  • sEnsure compliance with network wiring standards and best practice

Minimum Qualification

  • s:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Automation, Electronic Engineering, or a related fiel
  • d.Minimum of 3 years of experience in data center management or system integration engineerin
  • g.Proficiency in maintaining and troubleshooting both hardware and software in data center
  • s.Strong knowledge of Red Hat Linux, Windows Server 2008, and virtual machine operation
  • s.Experience in system integration engineering or data center managemen
  • t.Familiarity with server hardware equipment replacement and software service debuggin
  • g.Ability to diagnose and resolve issues related to servers and data center infrastructur
  • e.Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • . Excellent communication skills, capable of working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneousl
  • y.Ability to maintain a full-time work schedule with regular in-person attendance is required for this position
