CURATOR
(Part-time, 10-month)
Randolph-Macon College, located in Ashland, VA, is seeking a part-time Curator (20 hours/week for 10-months) to oversee the College's collection. The position begins on August 1 through May 31. The College holds a significant collection of historical Asian art and Contemporary Southeast Asian art and a recently acquired collection of modern and contemporary art with a distinct focus on Virginia artists. The curator will oversee the cataloguing of the collection and will be responsible for the overall management, care and preservation of the collection, and its public exhibition across buildings on campus.
Qualifications
MA in art history, curatorial studies, or museum studies with demonstrated experience in collections' handling, preservation, and management.
