Harris County Public Health Department is teaming up with Team1Medical to seek a Clinic Clerk to join their team. As the Clinic Clerk, you will perform various clerical duties to support the WIC Program. Clinic Clerk’s Responsibilities
Answer incoming phone calls, check in/outpatients, schedule appointments, and assist around the clinic.
Complete and evaluate residency, identification, income, and immunization eligibility documents.
Explain WIC Program procedures, use of Texas WIC card, and food benefits to clients.
Conduct community outreach and referrals for clients needing services not provided by WIC.
Clinic Clerk’s Qualifications
A High School Diploma or GED is required.
One (1) year of clinical or administrative work experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not required.
Translation services are to be provided; languages other than English are required.
EMR: Epic experience and Adobe Pro are a strong plus.

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., with no weekends!
