Shift 6:30 am -6:30pm Prn 6:30pm-6:30am A certified medication aide is a certified nursing assistant (CNA) responsible for administering daily medication to patients in a hospital or medical facility Their duties include monitoring patients, reporting changes, and collecting samples They provide routine daily medications, either prescription or non-prescription, to patients whose condition and drug regimen are stable They require at least a high school diploma or GED to attend the certification training and exam for this position.The job responsibilities of a certified medication aide include4: Delivering the medicine and providing information about it to the patients as per the prescription or direction from the physician. Communicating with the patient's health and coordinating with other nurses to assist with patient care and procedures. Following the verbal and written instructions from the physician.
