Job Description

Well-established General Contractor seeking carpenters of different experience levels to join the team. We are seeking candidates who work well in a team environment, can prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently.

Experienced Carpenter:

Qualifications:

5+ years in the construction industry

Excellent note taking skills a MUST

Proficiency reading construction drawings, specs, and blueprints, etc. would be a bonus

Framing Experience

• Dock repair/ replacement/building experience a plus - immediate need
  
  

Exposed finish framing

Door installation inclusive of pre-hung as well as cut-in book doors

Window installation with knowledge of proper flashing

Excellent time management and prioritization skills.

Detail oriented, logical, and methodical approach to problem solving

Able to respond to changing priorities while continuing to maintain attention to detail

General construction knowledge beyond just carpentry

Commitment to performing job with safety in mind

Must be legally eligible to work in the United States (proof of eligibility will be required upon offer of employment)

Must pass a drug-test, physical exam, and background test prior to employment

Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Compensation: $28 - $39/hr. DOE

Benefits:

Paid sick days (after 90 days)

Paid holidays (after 90 days)

Apprentice Carpenter:

We are seeking several apprentice carpenters with 2+ years' experience to join the team. We are seeking candidates who work well in a team environment, can prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years in the construction industry
• Excellent note taking skills a MUST
• * Dock repair/ replacement/building experience a plus - immediate need *
• Window installation with knowledge of proper flashing
• Cabinetry experience
• Framing Experience
• Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
• Detail oriented, logical, and methodical approach to problem solving
• Able to respond to changing priorities while continuing to maintain attention to detail
• General construction knowledge beyond just finish carpentry
• Commitment to performing job with safety in mind
• Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States (proof of eligibility will be required upon offer of employment)
• Must pass a drug-test and background test prior to employment
• Must have clean driving record
• Must have reliable transportation
• Proficiency reading construction drawings, specs, and blueprints, etc. preferred
  
  

Compensation:

$21.00-$27.00 per hour DOE
