Job Description

Skillforce is looking for a Carpenter in Washington, IN to start ASAP for a 4-week project. Per diem available for travelers.

Carpenter Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Install sheet metal building components such as roofs, walls, and siding.
  • Fit and fasten sheet metal parts together using bolts, screws, and rivets.
  • Inspect installations for defects or damage.
  • Ensure all work complies with building codes and regulations.
  • Collaborate with other construction team members and subcontractors.

Carpenter Qualifications

  • Previous experience in sheet metal installation, construction, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with various sheet metal materials and their properties.
  • Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and metalworking machinery.
  • Strong attention to detail and precision in measurements and cuts.

Job Type: Contract, 10-hour shifts Mon-Thur, 6-hour shift on Friday

Salary: Up to $28.00/hour DOE, $75/day per diem for travelers
