Job Description

CARPENTER ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Skilled or Semi-skilled Carpenter

Carpenter Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Must know how to install Hollow Metal, Timely and Pre-hung doors.
  • Read and interpret blueprints for layouts
  • Install base, case and other finish molding.
  • Framing with wood and metal studs.
  • Installation of door hardware, closers, panic bars, stops, etc.
  • Installation of fixtures.
  • Cabinet installation.
  • Previous carpentry experience required, pay based on actual carpentry experience.
  • Operate power tools, hand tools as required and per safety requirements.
  • Move and lift 50 pounds repeatedly.
  • Work well in a public setting and with others, good teamwork.
  • Ability and willingness to learn new skills.

Carpenter Requirements

  • Willingness to travel throughout southern California.
  • Must have transportation (truck or van).
  • Own and provide tooling to perform above task.
  • Experience in commercial construction a plus but not required.
