Position Overview: The Senior Technical Business Analyst will be responsible for managing and executing full-stack projects, handling tasks from initial conceptualization to final implementation. This role requires an exceptional blend of technical acumen, analytical skills, and business knowledge to work independently and effectively in a fast-moving setting.


Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on technical projects.
  • Hands-on experience across all phases of project lifecycle: From initial stakeholder engagement and requirements gathering to solution design, project management, development, testing, implementation, and post-implementation support. This includes creating business cases, documenting functional specifications, developing prototypes, managing project risks, ensuring thorough testing, facilitating stakeholder communication, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong technical chops on web platforms, demonstrating proficiency in leveraging web technologies to drive innovative solutions.
  • Strong technical background with proficiency in the Microsoft technology stack (e.g., SQL Server, .NET, Azure).
  • Experience with SQL, data modeling, and system integration.
  • Experience in coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver successful project outcomes.
  • Experience using ticketing systems to manage and resolve a high volume of requests.
  • Ability to prioritize tickets based on business needs and project deadlines.
  • Familiarity with both legacy systems and modern technologies, and experience in system replacement projects.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into detailed technical specifications.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with technical architects, development teams, and testing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Initial Conceptualization:

  • Engage with stakeholders to gather and understand their needs.
  • Develop business cases and feasibility studies to justify projects.

Requirements Gathering and Analysis:

  • Document business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories.
  • Create detailed process maps and workflows.
  • Analyze and document business processes and systems to identify solutions.

Solution Design:

  • Collaborate with technical architects and development teams to design and propose technical solutions.
  • Develop prototypes and mock-ups to visualize proposed solutions.
  • Ensure solutions align with business requirements and system architecture standards.

Project Management:

  • Manage full lifecycle of projects, including planning, execution, and delivery.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Prioritize and manage a high volume of requests through a ticketing system.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks.

Development and Testing:

  • Coordinate with development and QA teams to ensure thorough testing of solutions.
  • Oversee the deployment of solutions, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
  • Provide post-implementation support and troubleshooting as needed.

Implementation and Support:

  • Oversee the deployment of solutions, ensuring a smooth transition to production.
  • Provide training and support to end-users and stakeholders.
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess project success and gather feedback for continuous improvement.

Stakeholder Communication:

  • Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status.
  • Facilitate meetings and workshops to drive project progress and resolve issues.
  • Act as a liaison between business and technical teams to ensure clear understanding and alignment.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to provide innovative solutions.
  • Mentor and support junior team members to enhance overall team performance.
