Responsibilities

Job Title: Business Development Manager - Americas -Battery Test Solutions for Automotive

Position Overview: We are seeking a seasoned and results-driven Business Development Manager to spearhead our expansion efforts in the Americas region, with a specialized focus on supporting our battery test equipment solutions. The successful candidate will bring valuable industry knowledge gained from previous roles, collaborating seamlessly with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Research & Development.

Responsibilities:

  • Market Expertise:
    • Leverage in-depth knowledge of the battery test industry to identify market trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging opportunities in the Americas region.
    • Provide strategic insights to inform decision-making processes.
  • Business Growth:
    • Develop and execute targeted business development strategies to drive growth and market share within the battery (test) sector.
    • Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and partners.
  • Collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and R&D:
    • Work closely with the Sales team to align business development efforts with sales targets and objectives.
    • Collaborate with Marketing to develop effective campaigns and promotional materials.
    • Engage with the Research & Development team to contribute industry insights for product innovation.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
    • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights and solutions tailored to their requirements.
  • Market Expansion:
    • Identify and explore new markets (e.g., mobility sectors beyond automotive) and applications for battery test equipment, driving expansion beyond existing segments.
    • Conduct market research to assess and capitalize on growth opportunities.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven track record in business development within the battery test equipment industry.
  • Strong industry knowledge acquired through previous roles is essential.
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills, working effectively with Sales, Marketing, and R&D teams.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Location:

  • Novi, MI (preferred, but depending on the location, remote is an option)
