Accounts Payable Specialist

Job Description:

Terra Energy, located in the vibrant Wynwood neighborhood of Miami, FL, is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. This is a W-9, temporary to permanent, opportunity with a competitive salary range based on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate records and documentation for all financial transactions.
• Post journal entries to the general ledger.
• Manage accounts payable process, including invoice verification and payment processing.
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions.
• Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel).
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to commute to the office Monday - Friday.
